About Event
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2007 with an intake of 60 students. The department has highly qualified faculty members, state-of-the-art facilities for various laboratories, a well-equipped Seminar Hall and a Departmental Library, updated with latest volumes periodically. EEE Department of SNSCE is a recognized Research Center by Anna University, Chennai and scholars are pursuing their research in the fields of power quality, renewable energy, wireless networks etc. Seven batches of students have passed out from this institution with 13 University Ranks so far. Periodical visits to leading industries are arranged for the students to have industrial exposure and to groom themselves as industry ready at the end of their course. During winter and summer vacations, in-plant training’s are arranged for the students in leading industries. Students are encouraged and assisted to pursue their final year projects to offer solutions for industry related problems through which both academia and industry are mutually benefited.
