Greetings from the Organizing team of Amalgam team!!!

Amalgam is the annual technical festival of the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering of IIT Madras. Spread over a period of 2 days, we witness the core of engineering manifested in the form of multitude of events like Industry defined problems, Department open house, Etch it, Quizzes, Debate, Photography, Popular Science Fiction etc. Winners stand a chance to get away with certificates and cash prizes worth over ₹1.25 Lakh .

Apart from the above events, numerous workshops are to be conducted by top notch IITM professors in the highly exciting areas of Atom Probe Tomography, Atomistic Modelling, Crystallography and Electro chemistry. Certificates will be also provided on successful completion of a workshop.
