Workshop on System Design using Anadigm FPAA and NI LabVIEW

To design, test and program dynamically analog circuits using EDA software and import to FPAA
To experience on the application development of sensor system using NI LabVIEW & myRIO

Speakers and trainers are from Oppila Microsystems Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, and National Instruments India, Bangalore.

About FPAA
An FPAA is an IC that can be programmed and reprogrammed to perform an open-ended set of analog circuit functions. Using the graphical AnadigmDesigner®2 CAD software and its library of pre-tested analog circuit functions, a designer can very quickly put together a sophisticated circuit that would previously have taken weeks to design and test. The circuit configuration files are downloaded into the FPAA from a PC or system controller or from an attached EEPROM, producing a fully functional analog circuit. The circuit configuration is completely changeable at any time, either as a new download or with on the fly updates to an already functioning configuration.

About myRIO
MyRIO is a real-time embedded evaluation board made by National Instruments. It is used to develop applications and projects by utilizing its onboard FPGA and microprocessor. It includes analog inputs, analog outputs, digital I/O lines, LEDs, a push button, an onboard accelerometer, a Xilinx FPGA, and a dual‐core ARM Cortex‐A9 processor. Some models also include WiFi support. You can program the myRIO with LabVIEW or C.

How to reach SRM University Kattankulathur Campus, Chennai

By Rail
Those coming from other states of India by train, should get down at the Chennai Central Station, come out and cross the high road through the pedestrian subway and reach 'Park' suburban metro rail station. Two destination trains are available from Park suburban metro rail station - to (i) Tambaram (TMB) (ii) Chengalpattu (CGL).

(i) If you take the train to Tambaram, then get down at Tambaram and reach the local bus stand there. Take T60 or T60 LSS bus and get down at SRM or Potheri stop. It is a 20 minute travel from Tambaram to reach SRM University. (Total Travel time from Chennai Central Railway Station will be around One Hour).

(ii) If you take the train to Chengalpattu, you can directly reach Potheri railway station. SRM University is just opposite to Potheri railway station.

By Air
The nearest railway station from the Chennai Airport is Thrisulam, located just opposite the Airport. Get on a train towards Tambaram and follow the instructions given in the 'By Rail' section above for reaching SRM University.

Shuttle bus service is available from SRM University main gate to commute around the university.
