About Event

Crank-X is the annual, national-level, technical symposium organized by the students and faculty of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SSN College of Engineering, Chennai. This year, the Association of Mechanical Engineers brings to you the fifth edition of Crank-X. Since its inception in 2010, it has expanded to a national reach, encouraging and involving participation of engineering students all over the country. The wide spectrum of purely technical events ranging from Crank-X's trademark event - the SSN GP - to paper presentation has amassed much appreciation from teachers and students alike. So whether you wish to confound the judges by presenting your ideas as papers, use your grey cells to locate the treasure at the end of the hunt, build trusses from everyday materials or heed the battle cry as you race your cars in the SSN GP, there is no better platform for you to unleash the Mechanical Engineer in you.
