About the event
VLSI circuits are used universally in real world applications. These include microprocessors in a personal computer or workstation, chips in a digital camera, chips in a cell phone and embedded processors in an automobile. The design of VLSI circuit has many phases. This workshop aims in providing a good opportunity to the Faculty members, Research Scholars and Students, to have an insight of modelling, simulation and implementation procedure in the design of VLSI circuits. The workshop will introduce the participants to the various phases in the design of VLSI circuits. A demonstration of hardware modelling and simulation of VLSI circuits will be provided to help the participants gain more understanding. FPGA programming for circuit implementation will be demonstrated using SPARTAN 6 by field experts. The program will focus on practical aspects and include examples which are prescribed in the VLSI Design Lab course by Anna university in the current Regulation
