Two Day Hands-on Workshop on Matlab/Simulink With Real Time Applications

At various stages in engineering study, one comes across mathematical problems of engineering applications irrespective of the engineering discipline. A simple computational tool such as MATLAB can be quite handy to solve such mathematical problems, provided we can formulate the problems appropriately. This Workshop will include a session on the introduction of MATLAB by writing very simple programs for performing basic computations such as matrix operations. Also, couple of sessions will be conducted for the use of MATLAB to demonstrate its applications to specific topics such as Power Electronics and Drives and Arduino board with MATLAB/SIMULINK.

• Basics of MATLAB / SIMULINK
• Basics Arduino Board with MATLAB / SIMULINK
• Introduction on Arduino UNO, MEGA2560, DUE and NANO
• Arduino Board Interface with Simulink
• Interfacing with DC Motor, Servo Motor
• Voltage control of Buck-converter with Power module
• Voltage control of Single Phase Inverter interfacing
