At various stages in engineering study\, one comes across ma thematical problems of engineering applications irrespective of the engine ering discipline. A simple computational tool such as MATLAB can be quite handy to solve such mathematical problems\, provided we can formulate the problems appropriately. This Workshop will include a session on the introd uction of MATLAB by writing very simple programs for performing basic comp utations such as matrix operations. Also\, couple of sessions will be cond ucted for the use of MATLAB to demonstrate its applications to specific to pics such as Power Electronics and Drives and Arduino board with MATLAB/SI MULINK.
