About the event

MEMS has found applications in wide ranging areas such as
chemical sensors, biosensors, aerospace, RF circuits,
consumer electronics, etc. and it has been identified as one
of the most promising technologies for the 21st Century.
MEMS-based devices can range in size from a few
millimeters to micrometers and have the ability to sense,
control and actuate on the micro/nano scale. The MEMS
industry is expected to be the driving force for next
generation systems and subsystems. More recently, the
MEMS research and development community has
demonstrated a number of devices used to address various
research problems. Research that progresses the
functionality and compatibility of materials with the body,
sensors with improved accuracy and reliability, and the
integration of multiple devices to autonomously gather,
analyze, and transfer data without the need of bulky and
expensive external components, will set the field at the
frontiers of new products and applications. This workshop
aims to provide an excellent platform for industry
professionals, researchers, faculty members and students
to interact and share ideas on Flexible-MEMS technology
and its emerging applications.
