DESCRIPTION:<p>MEMS has found applications in wide ranging areas such as<br
  />\nchemical sensors\, biosensors\, aerospace\, RF circuits\,<br />\ncons
 umer electronics\, etc. and it has been identified as one<br />\nof the mo
 st promising technologies for the 21st Century.<br />\nMEMS-based devices 
 can range in size from a few<br />\nmillimeters to micrometers and have th
 e ability to sense\,<br />\ncontrol and actuate on the micro/nano scale. T
 he MEMS<br />\nindustry is expected to be the driving force for next<br />
 \ngeneration systems and subsystems. More recently\, the<br />\nMEMS resea
 rch and development community has<br />\ndemonstrated a number of devices 
 used to address various<br />\nresearch problems. Research that progresses
  the<br />\nfunctionality and compatibility of materials with the body\,<b
 r />\nsensors with improved accuracy and reliability\, and the<br />\ninte
 gration of multiple devices to autonomously gather\,<br />\nanalyze\, and 
 transfer data without the need of bulky and<br />\nexpensive external comp
 onents\, will set the field at the<br />\nfrontiers of new products and ap
 plications. This workshop<br />\naims to provide an excellent platform for
  industry<br />\nprofessionals\, researchers\, faculty members and student
 s<br />\nto interact and share ideas on Flexible-MEMS technology<br />\nan
 d its emerging applications.</p>
