The integration of advanced technologies into agriculture is revolutionizing how food is produced, monitored, and managed. As global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, and population growth intensify, the need for smart, data-driven agricultural systems has never been greater. The workshop, “Smart Agricultural Systems: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Applications,” is designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of how cutting-edge technologies like AI, ML, and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) can transform agriculture into a sustainable, efficient, and highly productive domain. This workshop serves as a comprehensive platform for learning, discussion, and collaboration. Participants will explore the potential of AI and ML applications in agriculture, ranging from predictive analytics and precision farming to autonomous decision-making systems. Through interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and case studies, this programme aims to equip attendees with the skills and knowledge required to implement smart agricultural systems effectively. Agriculture has traditionally relied on labor-intensive methods and manual decision-making. However, the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), wireless sensor technologies, and artificial intelligence has ushered in a new era of “smart farming”.
