1. Concrete Canoe Competition: The NCCC offers students a special chance to get practical knowledge and firsthand experience while putting their project management and concrete mix design skills to the test. Design and racing techniques are combined in this premier competition.
2. Epitome Fabrication: A design model have to be made on the spot. All the teams will be given a common topic and a prototype should be made using the stationary provided.
3. Concrete Carve: Participants are supposed to bring concrete cubes for strength testing along with a hard copy of mix design. The required specifications will be elucidated exactly before seven days of commencement of the event.
4. Geo-wall: Geo-Wall Competition where students design and construct mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls. Geo-Prediction competition where students predict behavior of the ground or geotechnical structure in-situ.
5. Solicit Seeking: Participants in teams, have to seek a solution to an industry defined problem related to the field of CIVIL ENGINEERING. A question will be posted to each team, three hours before the commencement of the event.
6. Potential Orator: Participant should elucidate a topic to the crowd. Each participant will be given a CIVIL ENGINEERING related topic one hour before the commencement of the event.
7. Panel Show: Participants will be competing with other teams in the very common technical quiz based on the general criteria of CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY. Teams shortlisted from round one will be qualified for final round of quiz.
8. Photo Stat: Entrant have click a photo of any object/ structure(under consturuction/ constructed)/ civil –related image. The photo will be posted in the official site of CIVIL DEPARTMENT and the photo with maximum number of likes will be awarded with prize.
