About Event

School of law Christ University Delhi NCR takes pride in announcing the First National Debate Competition to be held virtually from 19th to 21st April 2022.



ABOUT THE DEBATE

The national debate competition is based on Asian Parliamentary debate system. The event shall be held virtually with an expert panel of eminent personalities judging the rounds aiding students in gaining experience and knowledge like never before!



ELIGIBILITY

Students pursuing an undergraduate/postgraduate degree shall be eligible to participate in the Debate competition. Each team shall comprise three members( a prime minister a deputy prime minister and a government whip)



IMPORTANT DATES

Please take note of the following timeline (tentative):

• Registration begins: 30th March 2022.

• Last Date for Registration: 15th April 2022.

• Oral Rounds: 19th-21st April 2022.



Registration Fee:

All the teams registering for the Debate Competition are expected to make a preliminary payment of INR 750/- all information regarding mode and account details shall be communicated via the official rulebook for the competition. The registration fee is inclusive of any and all GST charges.



Winner team: cash prize of Rs. 12000 & certificate of appreciation

 Runner up team: cash prize of Rs. 8000 & certificate of appreciation

 2nd runner up team: cash prize of Rs. 2500 & certificate of appreciation

Best Speaker prize: Rs. 2500

 Participation certifications to be given to all participants.
