It is an educational foundation that transforms a students into an expert in the industry. Institution of Engineers (India) Based in Chepauk, Chennai and is a pride of the nation. After the formation of the Tamilnadu State Centre in 1922, the Institute of Engineers (India) has gained momentum throughout the nation where many wishes to become a part of it. The state centre is being administered by a committee which is comprised of a Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Corporate Members who are elected from total 15 engineering disciplines including Architectural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Environment Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mining Engineering, Production Engineering, Textile Engineering, and Metallurgy and Materials Science Engineering.
