About Event

We The Poetry Club GLA University, are back with our flagship event which was organized last year too and it was a grand success.

We are happy to announce the celebration of World Poetry Day 2018 as
"Qafila Kaviyon Ka..." which will much bigger, more happening and more poetic than the last one, on 21st March 2018.

We are organizing two sub-events under Qafila'18

Poetry Competition

It will be held on 21st March 2018, from 10:00 AM onwards at EC Conference Hall, Academic Block - 2, GLA University, Mathura, UP.

It will start with an Inaugural Session from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with Chief Guest.

The prize of the competition is worth 10,000 INR and there is no theme and language bar for the competition.

The Poem Should Be Self Composed

This year we are proud to have Padma Shri Bhalchandra Vanaji Nemade Ji as our chief guest. He is a writer, poet, critic, novelist and linguistic scholar and is a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award as well as the Jnanapith Award, the highest literary honour in India.
