National seminar on GREEN TECHNOLOGY AND WASTE MANAGEMENT FOR HEALTH CARE 15.02.2018

One of the very important objective of our Indian government is effective waste management by reuse, renewable and energy harvest from waste by implementation of advanced and effective technology. The call for waste management is getting louder each and every day but on the other side of the coin the production of waste is so alarming that the management of the source and waste is the giant challenge in front of the society. Especially in health sector industries the situation is very critical and a solution for chemical and hazardous waste management is the biggest problem that every industry is trying to a maximum to keep the impact low. The proposed seminar will definitely be a forum for the future engineers, researchers to understand the real face of waste and its impact and smarter possibilities to overcome. There is a growing need for integrating environmentally sound choices into green technology research and practices. Waste management is a challenge in health care sectors and in developing countries mainly due to the increasing generation of waste. The lack of understanding over a diversity of factors that affect the different stages of waste management and linkages necessary to enable the entire handling of system functioning. Apart from perusal of literature through papers, this seminar provides a platform to interact with principal researchers in the field for better understanding and development.
