 ctive of our Indian government is effective waste management by reuse\, re
 newable and energy harvest from waste by implementation of advanced and ef
 fective technology. The call for waste management is getting louder each a
 nd every day but on the other side of the coin the production of waste is 
 so alarming that the management of the source and waste is the giant chall
 enge in front of the society. Especially in health sector industries the s
 ituation is very critical and a solution for chemical and hazardous waste 
 management is the biggest problem that every industry is trying to a maxim
 um to keep the impact low. The proposed seminar will definitely be a forum
  for the future engineers\, researchers to understand the real face of was
 te and its impact and smarter possibilities to overcome. There is a growin
 g need for integrating environmentally sound choices into green technology
  research and practices. Waste management is a challenge in health care se
 ctors and in developing countries mainly due to the increasing generation 
 of waste. The lack of understanding over a diversity of factors that affec
 t the different stages of waste management and linkages necessary to enabl
 e the entire handling of system functioning. Apart from perusal of literat
 ure through papers\, this seminar provides a platform to interact with pri
 ncipal researchers in the field for better understanding and development.<
