About Event

The study of fluid flow behavior is complex and interesting to understand. Unlike the solid motion, fluid transport is unique and behaves differently. The researcher and engineer are trying to get the insight of fluid physics for long time. Themodern simulation tools like Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and the latest measuring instruments like PIV are helping to understand the deeper physics of the fluid transport phenomena. The seminar aims to provide the insight of these modern tools and techniques. This seminar is useful to the practicing engineers from industry, pursuing researchers, faculty and the interested students.

Events

Fundamental and advanced topics on computational and experimental fluid dynamics will be covered in this course. Physical law based simplified CFD approach will be adopted.
A semi-practical module of experimental fluid dynamics is planned, where theoretical knowledge about various instrumentation techniques can be seen through some simple demonstration.
