Kumaraguru College Of Technology, Coimbatore is hosting a Model UN workshop in association with Young Leaders' Consortium, an ISC member of UNESCO GAMAG.

Model UN conferences have their sophisticated rules of procedure which become very difficult for first timers to understand and comprehend. YLC provides beginner and intermediate level of training for rules of procedures of MUN,ways to research, an Introduction to policy making and geopolitical scenarios etc. The Workshops are generally a two day event, wherein the first day is about explanation of the rules of procedure and other aspects of Model UN and the second day has a mock session for better understanding of rules of procedure by the participants of the workshop.

Following subtopics are covered in the MUN workshop:

2. Functions and Organs of the United Nations

3. UN Charter

4. Understanding MUN rules of procedure

5. Understanding forms of debate

6. Points and Motions

7. Resolution making process

8. Voting Process

9. Mock MUN session
