About Event

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Bengaluru (SIBM-B) is all set to host “Symbriksha”, the annual tree plantation endeavor, on February 21, 2015. The Social Responsibility Committee of the institute is organizing the same.

About Symbriksha: “The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The next best time is today” - Chinese Proverb The primary purpose of this activity is to imbibe in the students, the importance of a green and healthy surrounding in a rapidly growing concrete jungle. Symbriksha is held in collaboration with TREES FOR FREE, an environment-oriented NGO and Electronics City Industries Association (ELCIA). Through this venture, the students hope to foster a sense of team spirit and also inculcate in the youth, the importance of a green city. They hope to send across to the masses the message of building a greener and healthier environment.
