The technical festival is all set to strike the right chord among the CS/IT students & enthusiasts of Delhi with its wide array of events. The events being organized in Esya'13 are: o) Techathlon: A marathon of technical events, in which the participants will be tested on various technical skills ranging from coding to debugging to quick environment configuration. Prizes worth Rs. 80,000 up for grabs! o)Overnight hackathon: Nokia and IIIT-Delhi's ACM Chapter bring to you a 16-hour hackathon which will put your programming skills and creativity to test. Nokia Lumias to be won! o)ProCon Junior: A programming contest for school students. The winners get bonus marks for admission in IIIT-Delhi, along with attractive prizes. o)Rebuttal: A GD-Extempore-Debate competition. Online round commences on 6th August 2013 and ends on 11th August 2013. Prizes worth Rs 18,000 to be won! o)xQuizIT: A marathon of quizzes that will challenge the trivia of even the best of trivia junkies. Prizes worth Rs 20,000 to be won. o)Prayatna: A social innovation competition. Solve a social problem through technological intervention. Prizes worth Rs 20,000 up for grabs! o)Seminar Series: This is a two day event, which would witness distinguished personalities from different walks of life discussing the various technologies swarming the IT industry these days and present their ideas of technological innovation and entrepreneurship. o)RoboCon: A line following robot competition. Prizes worth Rs 20,000 up for grabs! Winner get a unique opportunity to intern with ARK Technosolutions. o)FOQS: The photography event of Esya’13. The themes for the online prelims are: -> Dilwaali Dilli -> Expressions speak louder than words -> Nature that nurtures -> Faces -> Streets and the City Submission deadline for online prelims: 13th August, 1 pm. Prizes worth Rs. 13,000 to be won! o)The Big Bang: An astronomy event being organized in association with SPACE. Event is live! o)Hunt IT: A treasure hunt (offline event) spanning over two days. Participants get to compete in games like DotA 2, NFS-MW, Age of Empires etc..
