About Event

WAVEZ Is The Department Of Ocean Engineering, IIT Madras's Annual Festival. It Is Completely A Student Organized Event With Support From Our Professors. It Was Conducted Last Year In March With Around 200 People Participating In It. This Year, It Is Our Endeavor To Increase Participation From Other Colleges Which Offer The Same Course So That Students Graduating In This Field Of Naval Architecture Have A Common Platform To Interact. We Are Glad To Inform You That This Year We Will Be Conducting WAVEZ On March 9th- 10th. The Highlighted Events Are Roboceana- In/Under Water Robotics Competition, Desmod- A Software Workshop Followed By A Competition In The Same, Research Expo- A Newly Initiated Event Where M.Tech's And Phd Students Can Present Their Paper/Ideas On The Stage And Gain Valuable Feedback From Attending Professors And Others.
