The Internet of things (IoT) is the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators and network connectivity which enables these objects to connect and exchange data. In IoT, sensors play a major role in data aggregation of from the environment. The focused areas of the FDP program are Sensor modelling, biosensors, electrochemical sensors, micro fluidic sensors, underwater sensors, Mechatronics actuators, Transducer and its materials, IoT, and application of sensor technologies
