Workshop on Opportunities, Recent innovations and Challenges in indian Traditional Medicinal Systems 2018

The objectives of workshop are bringing awareness about Indian Traditional Medicinal systems among research communities and also explore business opportunities for sustenance in this area.

Morning session-Theory & Herbal product preparation will be covered in after noon session.

India is well known for its traditional medicinal systems—Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani. Medical systems are mentioned even in the ancient Vedas and other old scriptures. Use of plants as a source of medicine has been an ancient practice and is an important component of the health care system in India. In India, about 70 percent of rural population depends on the traditional system of medicine. It is a great opportunity to explore entrepreneurship in this space
