Utkansh 2015

Utkansh is the annual cultural festival of NIT Jalandhar organized on yearly basis from last 10 years. This year we intend to go bigger and better and evoke creativity of students through participation and competition.

Utkansh '15 is being conducted at NIT Jalandhar from 19-22 March 2015.

The theme of UTKANSH '15 is

"Chronicles of Culture"

Utkansh '15 brings you over 60 events conducted by over 15 societies and a footfall of 10,000 on grounds of NIT Jalandhar.

The mega events of Utkansh '15 include:

3) Razzmataz - National level choreography event
4) La Persona
5) Abhivyakti - The stage play competition
6) Folk Dance Competition
7) Nukkad Natak - Street Play

Along with megas, this version of Utkansh is ready to thrill you with Live Counter Strike, XBOX Gaming, NITJ Roadies, BitStrips, La Persona and dozens of exciting events.

To add to its glory, Utkansh '15 will have its STAR NIGHT whose star will be announced soon.

Registration Fees is Rs. 300 for whole fest.
Once you register and pay registration fee then you can take part in any number of events.

From Jalandhar City NIT Jalandhar campus is approx 12 KM outside when going to Amristar on G T Road Byepass (NH-1).
You can easily take an auto from railway station or bus station asking them about NIT Jalandhar (before Bidipur railway crossing.
Maximum charge for Auto is Rs30 each person in case he has at least 6 passengers.

Accommodation Charges Rs 100 per head per day.
