Optimization is finding an alternative with the most cost effective or highest achievable performance under the given constraints, by maximizing desired factors and minimizing undesired ones. Optimization tools must be effective in handling multi-objective, multi- variable and multi-constrained optimization problems and inclined to result in a global optimal solution. Optimization is a powerful research tools that find their applications in all the Engineering and Management fields.Intellectual property (IP) rights are like any other property right. They allow; creators, owners, of patents, trademarks or copyrighted works to benefit from their own work or investment in a creation. IP protection is intended to stimulate the creativity of the human mind for the benefit of all by ensuring that the advantages derived from exploiting a creation benefit the creator. This will encourage creative activity and allow investors in research and development a fair return on their investment.
