Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering SMFE 2017

 To teach about the nature of soil problems encountered in civil engineering and gives an overall preview of the behavior of soil.
 To know about the nature of soil, especially the transmission of stresses between soil particles.
 To learn about how to design shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls and slopes.
 To learn how to utilize their knowledge in soil mechanics to perform various types of engineering calculations.
 To teach advance scientific, technical and practical aspects of soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
