Materials Science is an important and critical area encompassing many disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Metallurgy and many branches of engineering. Materials science deals with the study of materials in terms of synthesis and characterization. Since materials are basic to the needs of many industries, the field of materials science has flourished due to the widespread applications in chemical, metallurgical and semiconductor industries. This workshop will give a good foundation and nurture an interest in the area of material science.
