About the event
The IETE Student Forum of Easwari Engineering College is proud to announce that we have joined hands with RoboFeast-2018 to conduct a National Level Quadcopter Workshop cum Championship in association with e-Summit of IIT- Roorkee.
The 2-day workshop will help students hone their flying skills and control a quadcopter using radio control.
About National Quadcopter workshop cum championship
1st stage will be held at Zonal centers through 2-Days quad workshop.
2nd stage will be held at Zonal centers after the workshop.
3rd stage(Final round) will be held in March 2019 at IIT-Roorkee.
Hands-on QuadCopter Workshop
Introduction to Multi Rotor Vehicles & QuadCopter dynamics
Introduction to design &concepts of Embedded Systems behind the Quadrotor
Understanding the Electronics circuit, Fabrication, Calibration &Testing of Quadcopter and controllers - P & PIgyros
Learning about the working of accelerometer sensors,
Hands-on experience of flying quadcopter using Radio Control.

Participant Registration Fee:
2-Days QuadCopter workshop participant registration fee is Rs. 1200/-per participant
(The fee includes: training, certification, Event registration & Quad Kit** only training Purpose)

Easwari Engineering College was instituted in the academic year 1996 -1997, with the Approval of Government of Tamil Nadu and AICTE, New Delhi. As per Govt., Regulations for affiliation, originally the college was affiliated to the University of Madras, subsequently, the college is affiliated to Anna University Chennai since 2002. Pursuing the philosophy of continuous learning, the Institution prepares the students to score creditably in the Academic sessions and also encourages them to develop their interpersonal and intrapersonal skills and attitudes to approach life with confidence. The working environment is such, Students as well as Faculty, are inspired and supported to attain high standards of Education and skill sets and shine in their chosen path. Faculty, with their impressive Academic, Research and Industrial experience, lead the students to achieve ‘Excellence’ and ‘Competence’. This, in turn, enhances the core strength of students and enables them to realize all-round development. The college offers 8 undergraduate programmes and 6 postgraduate programmes covering Engineering and Technology and Management. The National Board of Accreditation has accredited all programmes up to June 2020 except Automobile Engineering which was started in 2014. The College has obtained ISO 9001:2008 Certification from TUV, South Asia. So far, 18 Batches of Engineering students have successfully passed out. Many of our students have secured University Ranks including the University First Rank. Our campus placements are very high with over 95% of our students being placed year after year in both IT and core companies.
