One Week Workshop on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning using Matlab 2021

In recent years, we've seen a resurgence in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL). AI techniques are widely used for many applications such as Biometrics, Medical Imaging Processing, Natural Language Processing, and so on. Machine learning is the area of computational science that focuses on analyzing and interpreting patterns and structures in data to enable learning, reasoning, and decision making. Machine learning has applications in all types of industries, including manufacturing, retail, healthcare and life sciences, travel and hospitality, financial services, etc. We have witnessed technologies such as automated cyber fraud detection systems, self-driving cars, recommendation engines like Facebook, Netflix, Amazon, etc., which are used in our daily life for better living. Due to the advancement in electronic devices, the surveillance and action cameras, as well as smart phones and even old-fashioned camcorders are able to record videos at an unprecedented scale. With the recent advances in computer vision, we have the ability to mine such massive video data to obtain valuable insight about what is happening in the world. Deep learning technologies are making it possible to process and analyze vast streams of video contents. Deep Learning-driven solutions make it possible to uncover quantifiable data and trends from video metadata, to derive actionable insights for business intelligence in addition to data-driven safety, security, and operational decision making. Due to the rapid developments in the field of machine learning and deep learning, the workshop is planned to provide the basics of machine learning and deep learning, discuss the applications and provides a platform to have hands-on experience considering various applications.
