NOCTIVUS ’26 – Protecting the Digital Pulse
The Department of CSE (Cyber Security), Velammal Engineering College, Chennai, proudly presents NOCTIVUS ’26, a National Level Technical Symposium happening on 26 September 2026.
NOCTIVUS ’26 brings together cybersecurity enthusiasts, developers, innovators and creative minds from colleges across the country for a day filled with technical challenges, competitions, learning and entertainment.

Meet the organizer
The Velammal Educational Trust is a registered non-minority service organization established in the year 1986 by Thiru. M.V. Muthuramalingam to inculcate among the youth a sense of discipline which is important to mould them into useful and capable citizens. The watch words of the Trust are “Dedication, Determination and Distinctionâ€. Velammal Engineering College was established in the year 1995-96 to impart quality education. It is a self financing non-minority institution, affiliated to Anna University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and also an ISO certified institution.

Playground of Hackers
Playground of Hackers is a hands-on cybersecurity workshop conducted as part of NOCTIVUS ’26, led by Akash M (Gamkers), an Ethical Hacker and GenAI Engineer specializing in AI × Cybersecurity and Hardware Security and the Founder of Flawhunt & GamkersGPT.
The workshop offers participants practical exposure to ethical hacking, web and network security, vulnerability identification, reconnaissance, penetration testing concepts, cybersecurity tools, and CTF-style problem solving through demonstrations and real-world security scenarios.
