National Conference on Green Engineering and Technologies for sustainable future (NC-GET 2014)

The rapid industrialization and technological progress have led to unprecedented growth and development across the globe. But its adverse effects encompass degradation of the Earth's natural resources and the emission of green house gases causing irreparable damage to the environment.
A global green technological transformation has become imperative which envelops new science, engineering and technology pathways ensuring the reduction on the usage of earth's non-renewable resources, decreasing the carbon emissions and reversal of ecological destruction. Worldwide the focus is on sustainability and the need for innovative approaches to green energy generation and utilization. In this view, the Department of Petrochemical Technology of Bharathidasan Institute of Technology, Anna University is planning to organize two-days National Conference on Green Engineering and Technologies for sustainable future -2014 (NC-GET-14).

Presentation:
The authors are encourage to present oral paper or poster presentation on any one of the conference topics.

Experts from IIT, Industries and CSIR labs will deliver plenary lectures.

Submission of Abstract (within)-15th November 2014
Acceptance Notification-17th November 2014
Submission of full paper-24th November 2014
Conference Dates-5th and 6th of December 2014

Registration Fees:

​​Registration fee for participants as follows

Students,Research Scholar – Rs. 750/-
Faculty member, Academicians – Rs. 1,000/-
​Industrialist– Rs. 1,500/-
Accompanying person/presenter – Must pay Rs. 1,000/- to attend & present paper on the conference. Presentation Certificate will be issued for all the presenters.
The payment should be made in favor of “The Head, Department of Petrochemical Technology” Payable at Tiruchirappalli. Registration becomes valid only on receipt of the fee. Hence, filled in registration form along with abstract of research paper along with DD should reach the conveners on or before 24th November 2014. Registration fee covers conference materials, lunch and refreshments during the conference

BHARATHIDASAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BIT) CAMPUS, Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu, India as an institute in technical education under Anna University (www.aubit.edu.in). BIT is located in 10 km away from Triuchirappalli International Airport on Pudukottai highway.

Travel and Accommodation

Travel and accommodation expenses is to be met by the participants. If required, accommodation will be arranged on request basis in Girls and boys Hostels inside the institute or mansions available near the institute.
