About the event
The purpose of this conference is to provide an opportunity to all stakeholders especially young engineers to interact and share ideas related to the Smart Technologies and Green Environment – so that the latest engineering applications and technologies reach the Commoners.
The ongoing climate changes, rapid economic transformations, globalization, and their effects on the Culture, Social, Civic needs, National Security and Defense have a greater impact on the built environment. This conference therefore will enable young engineers to discuss and deliver their intellectual share on how the recent trends in Civil Engineering and Technology can elevate the living standards of the commoners, while ensuring sustainable development for all.

The Velammal Educational Trust is a registered non-minority service organization established in the year 1986 by Thiru. M.V. Muthuramalingam to inculcate among the youth a sense of discipline which is important to mould them into useful and capable citizens. The watch words of the Trust are “Dedication, Determination and Distinctionâ€. Velammal Engineering College was established in the year 1995-96 to impart quality education. It is a self financing non-minority institution, affiliated to Anna University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and also an ISO certified institution.
