Hardware Hackathon 2.0

The Hardware Hackathon Fest is an exciting and dynamic event designed to bring together budding engineers and innovators to solve real-world problems using hardware and technology. Over multiple rounds, participants will tackle unique problem statements involving sensors, microcontrollers, and IoT elements, creating prototypes that address challenges in areas like automation, monitoring, and robotics. The event encourages creativity, rapid prototyping, and hands-on skills in both hardware and software, while offering an opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and compete in a supportive and stimulating environment. Whether you’re an electronics enthusiast or an aspiring inventor, this hackathon provides the perfect platform to showcase your technical prowess and creativity.

For your hardware hackathon, you can assign participants problem statements that require them to build real-world prototypes using sensors, microcontrollers, and basic components. Start with simple tasks like a smart door alarm or temperature-controlled fan in the first round, progress to intermediate projects such as a room occupancy counter or gesture-based light control in the second round, and conclude with advanced challenges like a Bluetooth-based home automation system or a solar-powered mobile charger in the final round. These problem statements will increase in complexity each round, pushing participants to demonstrate their skills in sensor integration, control mechanisms, and IoT-based solutions.
