Hands on Training IoT using Raspberry Pi 2019

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network. IoT involves extending Internet connectivity beyond standard devices, such as desktops, laptops, smart-phones and tablets, to any range of traditionally dumb or non-internet-enabled physical devices and everyday objects.
The main objective of this course is to educate and train the faculty/ researchers/ students on IoT. The participants will be introduced to the state of the art research, development and issues and security etc.

Basics of IoT and Raspberry Pi, Python Programming
IoT Eco system & Interfacing Sensors, Blink LEDs
Serial Port Programming Programming Gateways
Connecting Sensor Nodes to Gateway,
GPIO programming, Web page integration using Raspberry Pi,
Processing data offline and in the cloud
Real time projects using Raspberry Pi – Case studies.
