About Event

Poster presentation:
FIRST LOOK
* A team can have a maximum of 2 participants
*Topics related to civil engineering should be depicted in form of posters.
*The poster should be in A2 paper size which is either printed or hand written.
*Each team will be given 3 minutes to explain theirposter.
* 2 minutes will be allotted for queries


Cadd contest:
CADDaster
*It is an individual event.
*The first round is an MCQ round.
*In the second round,each participant should draw a diagram in Auto Cad software according to the requirement of the question
* Usage of any electronic gadgets is not allowed and can lead to disqualification.


Drop the egg:
* A team can have a maximum of 3 participants.
*The first round is an MCQ round.
*In the second round,an egg should be made unbreakable by wrapping it around with any material.
*The wrapping materials should be brought by the participants.


Quiz:
Clash of minds
*A team can have a maximum of 4 participants.
*Questions related to civil engineering subjects will be asked.
*The first round is an MCQ round.
*The second round is a slide-pass round.
*The third round is the decider round.
*Usage of any electronic gadgets is not allowed and can lead to disqualification.


Code cracking:
CODE BREAKER
*A team having a maximum of 3 participants is allowed.
*Code books will be provided during the event.
*The first round is an MCQ round.
*The final round is a slide-pass round.
*Usage of any electronic gadgets is not allowed and can lead to disqualification.


Treasure hunt:
TECHNICAL HUNT
*A team of two or three can participate.
*The first round is an MCQ round.
*Treasures will be inside the college campus
*Clues will be technical (civil related).


Bridge it:
*A team having maximum of 4 can participate.
*The first round is an MCQ round.
*A bridge should be constructed by the team using the materials provided on the spot.
*The failure load will be considered as the bridge's strength.


Potential professor:
*It is an individual event.
*The first round will be an MCQ round.
*In the final round, you have to give a lecture on the topic allotted to you
*Clarity, Fluency, Content,Body language,Eye contact are the main criteria to be judged.



Stack it up:
*A team having maximum of 3 can participate.
*The first round is an MCQ round.
*The team should construct a tower using the materials given on the spot.
*The tower which stands the tallest after a specific time wins.


Concrete challenge:
ConCreate
*A team having four participants can participate.
*A concrete cube of size 150x150x150 mm should be cast 7 days before the event.
*The team can use any mix ratio and if needed, admixtures can be used.
*The density of cube should be in range 1400-1600 kg/m^3.
*The material to be placed inside the concrete cube will be announced 7 days before the event.
*The concrete cube will be tested in the college laboratory on the day of event.

*A team can have a maximum of 3 participants

*The abstract of the paper should be sent to the email id below.
*The paper is taken through a pen drive as ppt.
*Presenting time should not exceed 8 minutes

*Paper having solutions to recent structural issues are preferred
