India is facing many water related issues. One of the key issues is in regard to water, health and sanitation. Government is trying to address the issues through Swachh Bharat mission, WASH programmes, etc. Focusing on recycling waste water is also need of the hour. Even though centralized waste water treatment is most adopted system by government at various cities, Decentralized Waste Water Treatment Systems (De-WATS) is proven to be one of the cost effective and sustainable solution in the present scenario.
