About Event

Adhikruth2k15 is brain child of the Department of Civil Engineering, GITAM Institute of Technology, GITAM University, Vishakhapatnam. It is to be held on 4th and 5th March 2015 under the aegis of the Institution of Engineers (India) Civil engineering chapter, GU. Adhikruth a name of the Sanskrit origin means dominance and as the leaders of tomorrow we want to instill confidence in each civil engineer that they have the potential to make a difference and reach the zenith. The aim of Adhikruth is to promote and nurture ideas with innovation in the field of civil engineering. All that is required is just a great platform that pools talents and gives shape to your ideas. The theme for the festival is SMART CITIES, the trending topic in the world of civil engineers. We would like to understand the idea of a Smart city from a budding civil engineer’s point of view. We would like to generate a combined outcome from our diverse minds. Adhikruth offers a diverse range of technical and non-technical events along with a workshop. The festival is a confluence of students from reputed institutes from all over the nation to compete and unleash their potential. Such an occasion which will ignite the talent and thought process will be a great opportunity for all of us.
