About Event

Vortex 2013 is a Chemical Technology festival hosted by Institute Of Chemical Technology, Mumbai between 17th-21st October 2013. This year the three premier technical festivals of the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), namely Exergy, YICC (Young Innovators choice Competition) and YRC (Young Researchers Conference) have been synergistically blended. Coalescing the exuberance of Exergy, the ideation of YICC, and the technical acumen of YRC, into arguably India biggest technical festival in the chemical, pharmacy and allied fields we present to you - “VORTEX: The ChemFest, 2013”. The theme for maiden edition of Vortex is "CARBON- as we C life " which promulgates the concept of universality.

Vortex comprises of various genres of events ranging from 1)Prodigy series- Cerebrum, Chemwars, Connexio, Jr IDP, Manifesto, Papyrus, Re-calibrate. 2) General events- Ad-mad, CSI, Entrepreneurs blue print, Management Maestro, Model united Nations, The Amazing Race, The phineas & Ferbs backyard, The opening bell. 3) Pharma series- Apotheke, Immunisia, Pharma cartel, Quantity sufficient 4) Most coveted event Industry Defined problems (IDP).
