DESCRIPTION:<p>Energy auditing identifies opportunities for saving Electri
 cal &amp\; Thermal energy\, without affecting the process or the quality 
 of the product. The first step in any energy management program is to con
 duct an Energy Audit. Energy Auditing is a systematic gathering and anal
 ysis of energy usage information within a building or process or system. 
 The progress of all initiatives that are put in place should be accurate
 ly monitored. Energy savings in the order of 5 to 20 % are possible by op
 timizing its utilization with better housekeeping\, low cost retrofitting
  and opting for energy efficient equipment at the time of replacement\, 
 renovation or up-gradation. This workshop aims in exposing the participan
 ts to energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement techniques w
 ith real time case studies from different industrial and commercial estab
 lishments </p>
