 hemical sensors\, biosensors\, aerospace\, RF circuits\, consumer electro
 nics\, etc. and it has been identified as one of the most promising techn
 ologies for the 21st Century. MEMS-based devices can range in size from a
  few millimeters to micrometers and have the ability to sense\, control 
 and actuate on the micro/nano scale. The MEMS industry is expected to be 
 the driving force for next generation systems and subsystems. More recent
 ly\, the MEMS research and development community has demonstrated a numb
 er of devices used to address various research problems. This workshop ai
 ms to provide an excellent platform for industry professionals\, researc
 hers\, faculty members and students to interact and share ideas on MEMS t
 echnology and its emerging applications. </p>
