SUMMARY:Wireless Sensor Networks - A Congitive perspective using NetSim
LOCATION:PSG College of Technology\, Coimbatore
DESCRIPTION:<p>One-day Workshop On Wireless Sensor Networks – A Cognitive
  perspective using NetSim.<br />\nNetSim is a popular network simulation t
 ool developed by TETCOS\, Bangalore. It is used for network design &amp\;
 planning\, defense applications and network R &amp\; D. Various technologi
 es such as Cognitive Radio\, Wireless Sensor Networks\, Wireless LAN\, WiM
 ax\, TCP-IP\, etc.\, are covered in NetSim. The objective of this workshop
  is to train the participants on Wireless Sensor Network and Cognitive Rad
 io and discover how NetSim enables to perform simulation tasks such as net
 work modeling\, traffic modeling and analysis of performance and packet tr
 aces of the specified networks. This demonstration will use the latest rel
 ease NetSim v8. The workshop will enable the participants to\,<br />\n•
 Understand theoretical aspects of Wireless Sensor Network and Cognitive Ra
 dio.<br />\n• Learn NetSim and perform simulation of the specified netwo
 rks.<br />\n• Modify the Protocols and simulate it to analyze the perfor
 mance.</p>
