UTSAV\, is the festival of faith conducted annually by BMSCE
\,Bangalore and with pride I must inform you that we are the first college
to start such a cultural event in India\, and its origin can be dated bac
k to 1975. Every Utsav has been viewed as a platform that provides great o
pportunity to students who are highly talented and dedicated to their fiel
d of specialization such as Dance\, Music\, Debating\, Theatre etc. Past f
ew years we introduced major events such as TURTLE\, DJ NIGHT\, WHIPLASH w
hich have just usurped the level of our fest to great standards!
\nL
ast year we were the first to have an EDM Night in addition to a DJ night
in a Campus Fest in Bangalore. We had invited DJ Siana Catherina\, from Ca
lifornia. This event was coincidentally her Birthday Bash program.
W
hile there is much dancing\, there is an equal amount of thrill as our adv
enture/mountaineering club SAHAS which has been existing from past four de
cades hosts a series of events- that include:
\nRappeling
\nWal
l Climbing
\nFlying Fox
\nRiver Crossing
\nObstacle cyclin
g
Utsav guarantees great publicity for all its sponsors with an assu rance of a crowd of 50000+ students who would throng the BMSCE Campus\, a nd this can be substantiated by our popularity as the Number One Fest in B angalore\, as surveyed by Deccan Herald NewsPaper. We have had tie ups wit h PN Rao\, Nokia Lumia\, TCS\, KMF\, SAP Lumia\, Robert Bosch\, Myntra Etc and more such stalwarts for the working of Utsav in this last decade. Las t year we focused our fest on the theme "Blast from the Past".
