DESCRIPTION:<p>We are pleased to invite you to a two-day workshop on “Fun
 damentals and Research Issues in Machining\, Welding\, and Non-Destructive
  Testing (NDT)” during 26th- 27th September 2019 at Department of Mechan
 ical Engineering\, Mepco Schlenk Engineering College (Autonomous)\, Sivaka
 si. This workshop consists of 9 sessions (including practical/demo to the 
 participants). Our college is 90 minutes journey from Madurai city.</p>\n\
 n<p>Content of the workshop:<br />\nØ Fundamentals on advanced welding\, 
 machining and NDT for industrial applications.<br />\nØ Comparison of des
 tructive and non destructive/NDT inspection.<br />\nØ Lectures\, practica
 l and demo sessions on Liquid penetrant testing (LPT)\, Magnetic Particle 
 Testing (MPT)\, Ultrasonic Testing (UT)\, Radiographic Testing (RT)\, Weld
  inspection\, Radiographic Film Viewer.<br />\nØ Research in usage of las
 er in machining\, surface texturing for industrial applications.<br />\nØ
  Research in usage of Wire cut EDM machining for industrial applications\,
  micromachining.<br />\nØ Research in advanced welding techniques\, Hybri
 d welding and laser welding.</p>
