The 67th Milestone is the first of its kind\; a progression of events hosted at BMU. Created with a vision to ignite a driving force w ithin the youth\, each event would be themed to highlight a social cause. The 67th Milestone would bring together a variety of individuals who share a motivation towards a better society. It will act as a means to raise aw areness about important social causes by providing the perfect platform to advocate such issues.
\nBattle of the Bands 2016\, is the inaugural event of The 67th Milestone\, at BMU. We aim to utilise this platform to c elebrate and recognise the diversity of music. Battle of the Bands will sh owcase the talent of 12 selected bands from all over the country in an att empt to exhibit the power of music.

\nOur mission is to promo te the diversity of music in India and to use music as a tool to make a ch ange. A study of the arts provides children with an internal glimpse of ot her cultures and teaches them to be empathetic towards the people of these cultures. This development of compassion and empathy\, as opposed to deve lopment of greed and a “me first” attitude\, provides a bridge across cultural chasms that leads to respect of humanity at an early age. With th is in mind\, we partnered with Music Basti.
