SUMMARY:TEDxVITPune
LOCATION:Vishwakarma Institute of Technology\, Pune
DESCRIPTION:<p>TED\, which stands for ‘Technology\, Entertainment\, Desig
n’\, is a global array of conferences run by the private non-profit Sapl
ing Foundation with the motto ‘Ideas worth spreading’. It comprises of
talks by versatile and\, more often than not\, distinguished\, personalit
ies who share experiences on scientific\, cultural and academic subjects.
TED conferences are held annually in North America\, Europe and some parts
of Asia. Since few people get a chance to attend TED\, ‘TEDx’ has bee
n introduced\, which is an independent TED-like event that can be organize
d by anyone who obtains a free permit from TED\, to cater to the local com
munity. Although the target audience can be of a particular category\, TED
x talks are accessible to everyone on the internet. It’s a good occasion
for novices to get motivated and a worthy platform for speakers to commun
icate their narratives to the world. It’s not about the speakers\, it’
 s about their stories\; it’s not about just stories\, it’s about innov
ation and wisdom. TEDx tends to become the local forum for ideas within a
community that inspires people to change their lives\, their futures and u
ltimately their world.<br />\n<br />\nTEDxVITPune is one such TEDx event t
hat's is getting bigger and better every year!</p>
