Technovanza is the Annual Techno-mana
gement Event organized by VJTI. The Objective of Technovanza is to educate
people about the principles of Engineering and thus spreading the knowled
ge of Engineering and Technology to the society at large. The event’s po
pularity has grown in leaps and bounds over the years and last year close
to 20000 people from all over the country attended the event\, leading to
its grand success. It is a great opportunity for students to showcase thei
r potential and helps them in two ways. They make the exhibits with their
own hands and then explain the concepts to the people who visit their stal
ls. The confidence the students get in first developing a concept\, develo
ping the prototype and then demonstrating it in front of people\, goes a l
ong way in making them ready to face the real world. This year our theme '
Plugged Into the World' is in accordance with the constant developments in
the field of technology and being in touch with latest of the technologie
s. The three day event has various activities which are of interest to all
type of visitors\, young and old who visit or participate in the event.\nFor students and youngsters who visit there are a lot of Competition
s in which they can take part and win prizes. Parents and elders can visit
the Exhibition and understand how various gadgets which they use in every
-day life work. The exciting events keep the viewers on the edge of their
seats. There are many lectures by eminent speakers and group discussions i
n which many experts take part. To the under-privileged students in school
s the social initiative\, Pratigya brings technology to their door-step an
d inspires them to become innovative engineers tomorrow. Reaching out to s
tudents\, industry and the society in general\, Technovanza 2014 promises
to be bigger than ever!
