The word Statistics is used in day to day life in every fiel d and in every sphere. Due to advancement in information technology\, da ta is available in huge volume. Thus leading us to look out for appropria te statistical tools. The statistical analysis is required for a meaningf ul interpretation of available data. Statistical analysis for non-statist icians is herculean task. Hence keeping it all in mind this workshop is designed to simplify the process of analysing available data with appropr iate statistical tools and software packages SPSS. This workshop aims to provide simple and exhaustive ways of data analysis through interactive  and practice sessions along with theory behind. Training sessions are wel l designed and structured to cover the topics

The topics have been so chosen that the intricacy of research metho ds and data analysis may be understood by even those participants who do not have any initial background of statistics.
