SUMMARY:Short Term Training Program in Graph theory and its Applications 20
17
LOCATION:SRM Institute of Science and Technology Kattankulathur Campus\, Ch
ennai
DESCRIPTION:
Graph theory is closely related to major thrust areas of cur
rent research in Discrete Mathematics with tremendous potential for applic
ations in major fields such as computer science and engineering\, communic
ation networks\, chemistry\, electrical engineering and being widely used
to solve variousreal-world problems. The aim of this Short Term Training P
rogramme on "Graph Theory and its Applications" (STTP-2017) is to bring to
gether the experts and the young researchers and provide a platform for di
scussion of recent advances in the relevant research areas of Graph Theory
.It is hoped that these in-depth discussions and lectures by the invited s
peakers will motivate the young researchers to enter into some of the high
ly fertile-research arena.
