1. The team should strictly adhere to the number of particip ants per team.
\n2. The participants ought to strictly adhere to the timings.
\n3. Participants should bring Bonafide Certificate &\; I D card at the time of registration.
\n4. Participants can take part i n many events without any time clash.
\n5. A registration fee of Rs. 150/- per head for participants from engineering colleges and polytechnic colleges (Project competition) has to be paid.
\n6. Spot registration is allowed. Time : 8.30 am to 09.30 am (Except Project competition)
\n7. Candidate should confirm their participation on or before 30.01.2020 to the E-mail ID (scimit2020@gmail.com)
\n8. E-mail\, phone number an d postal address are compulsory.
\n9. Attractive prizes will be given along with certificate for the winners.
\n10. Participants who are s elected from the preliminary round will pay their registration fee (except Project competition).
\n11. Participation certificates will be given for all the registered participants.
\n12. Lunch will be provided to the registered participants of Project competition only.
\n13. Refre shment in the morning &\; evening will be provided to all the registere d participants
\n14. College buses are available from Villupuram and Pondy (new bus stand) at 8.00 am &\; from cuddalore at 7.20 am
\n1 5. No DA will be provided. TA will be admissible for participants (more th an 200 kilometers)
\n16. Accommodation will be provided for outstatio n participants.
\n17. Organizing Committee decision is final.
\n PROJECT EXPO
\n1. Maximum 3 members per team.
\n2. The detailed abstract of half to one page should be submitted as a MS Word document (.d oc format only) with Times New Roman font (size 12)\, Heading size: 16\, s ingle spacing and single column format on or before 30th January 2020 to s cimit2020@gmail.com with subject as SCIMIT’20- project .
\n3. A wor king model to explain a concept\, principle or a process of  An innovat ive/inexpensive technique.  Application of basic principles of Science/ technology  Scheme/design of a device to save the world against the nat ural disaster (Eg. Flood\, Earth quake\,&\; Tsunami etc)  Energy &am p\; its conservation techniques
\n4. Selected participants will be an nounced on 12th Feb 2020 through the E-mail.
\n5. Projects will be un der the following categories.  General science  Civil &\; Mechani cal  Electrical\, Electronics &\; communication technology  Softw are &\; hardware technology  Environmental issues 6. Projects belong to Software &\; hardware technology category systems will be provided.
\n7. The participants must bring their necessary accessories.
\ n8. The event consists of 2 rounds. Round I: Display in the exhibition hal l for 3hrs. (Marks will be given based on the theme &\; mode of display ) The participants have to crack down the Round I to get into the Round II . Round II: Display in the exhibition hall for 2hrs. (Marks will be given based on the efficiency\, design and performance of application)
\n9. The organizers reserves full rights to disqualify any project that is fou nd not innovative.
\n10. The decision of the judges will be final.
