\nIndia is a country where we have a staggering 179.6 million people livin g below the poverty line\, 287 million illiterate adults and nearly 600 mi llion people with no access to toilet facilities. With the numbers so big\ , it doesn’t remain only the government’s responsibility to find and s olve the riddles behind these disturbing figures.
\n
\nThe Consu lting and Entrepreneurship Club at IIM Raipur will present a stage to all the budding social entrepreneurs out there to identify and launch the most compelling social business ideas—start-up enterprises that tackle grave issues faced by billions of people.
\n
\nThe B-plan competition shall be open to all graduate\, undergraduate students and working profes sionals of the country. This is an effort to motivate budding entrepreneur s to crystallize new and innovative ideas to tackle pressing social proble ms of the society and provide them with an opportunity to interact with ex perts from industry\, management\, financing institutes and probable inves tors.

\nRULES:
\n
\n1. The event is open to all gra duate\, undergraduate students and working professionals across the globe.
\n2. Each team can comprise of a maximum of 4 members. Single person team is also allowed.
\n3. Team members can be of different colleges / organizations.
\n4. Only one person will be the point of contact ( POC) chosen by the team and all further communication will be intimated to the person through mail.
\n5. The teams should register themselves a nd then submit their executive summaries as a part of the first round.
\n6. Executive summaries can be sent to cec@iimraipur.ac.in with subject as "Samaadhan 2016 | TeamName_CollegeName/Organization"
\n7. Final P PTs to be presented in Round 2 should not exceed 7 slides excluding welcom e &\; thank you slides.
\n8. The teams will be judged on the basis of both elevator pitch and presentations in round 2.
\n9. Acceptance and rejections of the business plan and executive summary of the business plan are governed by rules and regulations of organizing committee. In ca se of any conflicts\, call of organizers would be final.
